Artists in the Park 100 is a special one-day celebration to be held on Saturday August 6, 2011, from 11 am to 5 pm. The event will take place in Golden Ears Park, at the Day Use Area of Alouette Lake. It’s a beautiful area, right on the shores of the lake and surrounded by forests. Plenty of parking available. The site of the celebration, the Day Use Area of Alouette Lake, is 15 km from downtown Maple Ridge, and is a 25 minutes drive.

Rick Tippe         Dennis Leclerc This will be a huge celebration. The day will be full of surprises. There will be entertainment: singers, dancers, actors, celebrities, plus displays by visual artists of all kinds: painters, potters, carvers, jewelers and more, who will be displaying and selling their work. There will also be activities, such as demonstrations and workshops for children and adults. Sign up for our Free Draw. Many prizes will be given out. The event is free and you can expect a fun and action-packed day at the beach. Food concession provided by:

| Call for Entries If you are interested in participating as a visual artist, please note the following: This is a juried show, to ensure a good variety of work. We will be asking artists to pay $15 to participate. A $100 “good will deposit” will also be required. This represents a commitment from you to attend. The $100 will be refunded at the end of the show. In the event of a “no-show”, the $100 will NOT be refunded. There is lots of parking; it is easily accessible from the parking lot; and will be held amongst the trees on the side of the lake. It is a prerequisite that we have the show in the Provincial Park. You will need your own tent (10x10). The show will go on rain or shine. Please note there will be no commission on sales. Golden Ears Park, at the day use area of Alouette Lake is 25 minutes from the centre of Maple Ridge and 15.5km. Spots will be reserved after jurying and receipt of $115.00 cheque, made out to Lynton Studio.
