After eight years of research, development and experimentation, Jack discovered products made in Europe which add amazing dimension to his paintings. Jack is the mastermind of a new concept and style that uses fluorescent paints which he calls ’The Lumiere Noir Collection’. Being an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Port Moody Art Association, the Garibaldi Art Club, and Art Focus, his collection is well known throughout Canada and the United States.

"My work is an expression of my love for the beauty of this West Coast region. Forests in particular bring us strength and stability. They have been with us forever. Their constantly-changing vistas inspire and sustain us. Our forests are at risk however and I hope to create a legacy that will remain, even if our forests do not".
