Although only recently graduated from the Kootenay School of the Arts, I have been creating functional and decorative art for a number of years.

Being in love with nature (I hiked the Rockies, canoed the wilderness and scuba dived BC’s emerald sea, and maintain an expansive and enchanted garden) has evoked my desire to explore and portray the essence and marvels of our world in my work. Be it a perky frog sitting on the rim of a salad bowl or a shiny sea star clinging to a seafood dish, a gentle curve evoking the ocean’s swell or a subtle glaze reflecting the hues of our forests, I create pieces to grace a dinner table, accent a garden or elicit a chuckle or two.
