Suzette has been painting for 15 years. During that time, her work has evolved from painting flowers and landscapes to abstract and semi-abstract subjects. Her work has become expressive rather than representational.

Following a course of self-directed studies, Suzette obtained her training through classes, workshops and selected readings. She continues along this course still, to further improve her skills and stay abreast of current trends in art today.

As an active member of the local art community, Suzette has served as treasurer of the Maple Ridge Art Gallery and as treasurer and then president of the Garibaldi Art Club. She has also served as co-ordinator of the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Art Studio Tour.

Suzette’s work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibitions and she has won several awards. She has exhibited in many group shows and in a wide variety of venues. Suzette also sells her work on the internet through her website. Her work can be found in private collections throughout Canada and the United States.
